I LIKE TO BREAK WINNIPEG DOWN INTO THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
Northeast Winnipeg is home to a number of family-friendly neighbourhoods, great schools, parks, recreation facilities, and one of Winnipeg’s major shopping destinations.
Northwest Winnipeg features a number of prominent shopping destinations, schools, parks, and close proximity to the airport and Bell MTS Place.
Southeast Winnipeg covers a wide area, all the way from Windsor Park down to the south perimeter. It boasts beautiful neighbourhoods, golf courses, many parks, and quick access in and out of the city.
Southwest Winnipeg is nestled in between Kenaston Blvd. and Pembina Highway, with walkable, historic neighbourhoods, excellent shopping, easy access to main routes throughout the city, and some excellent nightlife and restaurants.
Family-oriented West Winnipeg spans across the Assiniboine River, from Kenaston Blvd in the east to the west perimeter and Headingley beyond. It offers very walkable neighbourhoods, as well as safe, tight-knit communities.
